The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks (BPOE)

Established in the 1800’s, The Elk’s is renowned for its charitable projects at both the national and community levels. With just under 1 million members in more than 2000 lodges across the country, the Elks are one of the largest and most active fraternal & charitable organizations in the world! The Elks are also one of the largest contributors of college scholarships in the nation, giving millions of dollars through their Elks National Foundation each year. Elks strongly support Americanism, and celebrating and honoring our flag. National Flag Day was created as a result of Elks encouragement. Holiday Isles Elks, BPOE 1912

Holiday Isles Elk Lodge brings so much more to our communities than just a building, Tiki, or pool. We are a place where neighbors come together, families share meals, and children grow up.

As and organization we invest in our communities through programs that help children grow up healthy and drug-free, by undertaking projects that address unmet need(s), and by honoring the service and sacrifice of our veterans.

• Holiday Isles Lodge provides twice a month a dinner to many of whom are veterans.
• Holiday Isles Lodge is involved with the local school in providing safe Drug Free initiatives and/or incentives.
• Holiday Isles Lodge provides during the Holiday’s Food Baskets to the needy families from Maderia Beach Fundamental School and The Church By the Sea.
• Holiday Isles Lodge – Holds annually a “Cliff Dunnaway Kids Fishing Day” in conjunction with 4KIDS Charity, Boys and Girls Club and Target to provide a day of fishing, game playing, swimming and an enjoyable lunch.

To inculcate the principles of Charity, Justice, Brotherly Love and Fidelity; to recognize a belief in GOD; to promote the welfare and enhance the happiness of it’s Members; to quicken the spirit of American Patriotism; to cultivate good fellowship; to perpetuate itself as a fraternal organization, and to provide for its government, the Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks of the United States of America will serve the people and communities through benevolent programs, demonstrating that Elks Care and Elks share.
